GOVERNMENTS CONTROLLING OUR INTERNET !!!
It had to happen. It already does in China and other countries we think of being under dictatorship.
Well, wake up people because even in our “civilized” countries where we vote to elect our governments……its been happening.
You might think it stated with 911, where they needed to scan everything written on the internet in order to find all the terrorists? It didnt.
They’ve been watching everything being done for a long while now. They didnt do anything about it at first, they wouldnt block certain sites but they are now.
They’re so sure of having everybody’s consent, that they now tell us they can block some sites.
Of course, they are blocking only “bad” sites. Terrorists and pedophiles beware!!!
I dont believe that blocking some terrorists sites will prevent them from attacking no more than I believe blocking child porn will prevent pedophiles from doing what they do.
If they didnt want pedophiles to see those sites, why go on national tv and show those sites?
Or why go on national tv and tell the world that such and such an airport is NOT secure to terrorists attacks?
What I want to say everytime I see this is SHUT THE F…..UP!!
I cherish my freedom of speech and Im ready to bite anyone who will try to take this away from me.
Yes there are terrorists out there and yes there are pedophiles out there but its nothing new. The net didnt make it more accessible. Its always been easily accessible via snail mail and they didnt do anything about it then so why now?
Dont get me wrong, I strongly believe that anyone hurting a child should be hanged by the balls if they cant be cured. But lets not go into a witch hunt. We’re not back in the dark ages.
I do NOT want the Governments to control what I access on my internet for the simple reason that I PAY for a service and I want ALL of the service that can be provided to me.
If they block certain sites now that they deem offensive, who’s to say what will be blocked next? Religious sites? Blogs? Help sites?
NO, we have to get up and tell our Governments to not mingle in our private life on the internet. What I do in the comfort of my home is NONE of their business.
Im pretty sure a bell must have been ringing in some dark office in a police station somewhere right now since the words child and pedophile are appearing on my blog now. I do hope they’ll take the time to read this and know that I might be ONE person speaking my mind, but I dont think Im the only one cherishing her freedom of speech.
So back off and find another way to catch the bad guys.
Very interesting opinions. I agree with you that if we do not want people knowing how and where to gain access to what we do not want accessed then why make this information public.
